Disaster Recovery Program
West Virginia Development Office received HUD’s authority to use grant funds on February 12, 2018. This CDBG-DR program is intended to address unmet housing needs caused by the June 2016 flooding and severe storms. As a long term recovery grant, the program must expend funds by September 2023.
Attention: The RISE WV program is fully functional. If you have applied for assistance, your cases have not changed and you need not apply. If you have any questions about your case, please call (304) 553-0927 or email us at Disasterrecovery@wv.gov.

All West Virginia employees and contractor employees have a responsibility to report waste, fraud and abuse within the agency. The public is also invited to share such concerns.
